The Bamboo Organ Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit organization founded to preserve and maintain the historic Bamboo Organ. It also engages in the spiritual, educational and social enrichment of the people of Las Piñas.
The Foundation has sent scholars to Austria like Armando Salarza (organ performance and church music), Garry Fajardo (choir conducting), Edgar Montiano and Cealwyn Tagle (organ-building). Each has carved a name for himself in his respective field.
The Foundation also organizes the annual International Bamboo Organ Festival being held at the Las Piñas Church. Because of its uniqueness, the Bamboo Organ has earned its prestige and mark in the international cultural scene enough for many foreign artists and musicians to participate in this annual musical event.
The Foundation operates the Gift Shop, where one can find a wide variety of souvenir and other items made of bamboo, Bamboo Organ CDs and cassettes, T-shirts, the St. Joseph Mass Cards and other religious items. It also manages the museum housed at the Padre Diego Cera Hall, where artifacts and old photographs of the church and the Bamboo Organ can be found. The Foundation office is open everyday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
