ABOUT US
Bamboo Organ Foundation Inc.
The Foundations was established in 1976. while the parish was still under the administration of the CICM Fathers. 2 decades later, the parish, and with it the administration of the Foundation, was turned over to the Diocesan Priests of the newly erected Diocese of Parañaque. Initially, Msgr. Allen Aganon replaced Fr. Mark Lesage (Belgian priest) as the Parish Priest and President of BOFI. The incumbent President of BOFI and Parish Priest of St. Joseph Parish (where the world-renowned Bamboo Organ is housed) is Msgr. Albert A. Venus. A native of Aklan who has assumed the BOFI chairmanship since April 2005.

With the primary purpose of preserving and maintaining the “world-famous” and the “Philippines National Cultural Treasure” – the Bamboo Organ, BOFI initiated a “BOFI TREE” where present and prospective sustaining members’ names are displayed and is currently put up to help us further preserve a historical treasure and continue a cultural heritage of good musicality.
